Mission
It is the expressed desire of Tri-State Christian Camps, Inc. to see men, women,
boys, and girls come to know Jesus Christ as their personal Lord and Savior and
to guide them towards maturity in their relationship with Him.
(Romans 10:13).
The TSCC is not a church. It is a interdenominational ministry which exist to serve Bible believing churches of all denominations. We do not promote one church or fellowship over another, but rather seek to minister to all fellowships through the unity brought about by the Holy Spirit. We encourage all of those who attend the Camp to become affiliated with Bible believing churches and to participate faithfully in them. We see ourselves as a supporting resource for Bible believing churches and their ministries (Ephesians 4:3-5; Galatians 3:26-28. The Tri-State Christian Camps is committed to excellence. We are committed to doing the very best that we can to serve both believer and unbeliever. It is our desire, through our board, staff, and volunteers to demonstrate the Lordship of Jesus Christ in each of our individual lives. We strive to serve those who would use our facilities even as we would serve Christ himself in order that He might receive the glory and praise (Colossians 3:23, 1 Corinthians 10:31, Matthew 5:16).
The Tri-State Christian Camps is committed to the promotion and facilitation of activities which play a key role in the training and building up of individuals in their walk with the Lord. We accomplish this by offering relevant ministries which impact the four major areas of life: 1. Spiritual 2. Mental 3. Physical 4. Social.
1. Spiritual: The primary responsibility of every Christian is to love God
(Luke 10:27, Ps. 42:1-2, John 16:27, 1 John 5:3).
2. Mental (mind, will and emotions): We love Him with our thoughts and attitudes (heart, soul, mind)
(Col. 3:1-2, He. 3:1, 1 Pet 3:15a).
3. Physical: We love Him with our words and (Rom. 12:1, 1 Cor. 6:19-20, 1 Cor. 10:3).
4. Social: Because He loves us, we are able to love others (Matt. 5:43-45, Rom. 12:10, 1 John 3:16-18, 1 John
4:20).
Through impacting these areas, the Tri-State Christian Camps is committed to
developing strong mature Christians. We desire to see men and women, boys and
girls make a personal commitment to Jesus Christ as their Savior. We urge all
believers towards a deeper personal submission to Jesus Christ as their Lord and
to pressing ahead towards developing a mature faith which reflects in every detail the attitude and example of Jesus Christ (Rom 8:29, 1 John 2:6).
